James Stewart is a former London solicitor turned primary school teacher, inspirational speaker, and founder of All Rise—a pioneering education initiative that brings the rule of law and powerful life lessons into classrooms across the UK.
James’s personal journey is one of resilience and reinvention. After experiencing significant loss and navigating major life transitions—including a change in career and becoming a father to two miracle children—James discovered his true calling: to inspire young people to live boldly, act with purpose, and believe in their ability to shape their own future.
His Carpe Diem workshop is a dynamic, thought-provoking experience designed to spark confidence and self-belief in every student. Blending legal insight with real-life storytelling, the session explores ten powerful themes—including mindset, action, failure, presence, and legacy—through hands-on activities that encourage students to reflect, engage, and take meaningful steps forward.
What makes this workshop unique?
Students won’t just listen to a motivational talk—they’ll be doing the work. Activities like reframing failure, saying yes to the unknown, and imagining their legacy turn abstract concepts into personal breakthroughs.
SPARK Framework in Action:
- Self-Awareness: Students explore how thoughts shape behaviour and how to replace negative self-talk with empowering beliefs.
- Purpose: By reflecting on small actions, bold decisions, and long-term legacy, students are guided to live with greater intention.
- Awareness: Exercises in presence, gratitude, and empathy help students better understand themselves and others.
- Resilience: James shows students that failure is not the end—but a necessary part of success and growth.
- Kindness: Through story-sharing and reflections, students practise active listening and compassion.
This session leaves students with more than just inspiration—it gives them the tools to take action, choose courage over comfort, and build a story they’ll be proud of.
