Testimonial

“Jermaine Harris delivered an interactive,
captivating and compelling session. He inspired and challenged the audience to tackle our ‘inner critic’ and mobilise our ‘inner coach’. He takes the audience on a personal journey by reflecting upon his own life in a profound way which results in a lifelong transformation and dream fulfilment through positive action and overcoming obstacles.”

Of students gave their workshop a top rating

“The feedback consensus that I have received so far from pupils is that this was a great way to approach and tackle subjects that are generally really awkward to talk about. One pupil in particular (at the Mental Health workshop) has said to me that it really helped them to realise that they were not alone and opened up a dialogue that may not have occurred otherwise. I am absolutely sure that this will not be the only pupil that has now been set to thinking more about how they feel about these issues. Many thanks to you all.”

Said it gave them a more positive outlook about their opportunities and future plans

“Jermaine explained how beliefs work as thoughts in your mind. Training your brain to think positively because if you repeat it enough, you will believe it. He encouraged everyone to follow their dreams, to never let anything bring you down and keep going even if your life’s at an all-time low at work and outside of work. It’s never too late to change your thoughts on yourself. The goal is to be happy. Not just when you reach your goals, but on the journey towards them.”

Said it increased their confidence and self-belief

“Outward Bound programmes teach resilience: students learn that giving up at the first hurdle is not an option. Teamwork, planning, problem-solving and communication erode the feeling of isolation often experienced in traditional learning”.
