Kelly Phinn Building Inner Strength and Self-Belief

Kelly is a Certified Positive Psychology Coach, Holistic Coach and Core Renewal Therapist with a powerful personal story of turning pain into purpose. After years of battling the impact of inflammatory bowel disease, living with chronic stress and low self-belief, Kelly reached a breaking point. Faced with the possibility of major surgery, she made a decision: to become the healthiest, happiest version of herself – no matter how long it took.

Through deep self-discovery, research, and the daily practice of healthy habits, Kelly transformed her mindset, released stress, and reclaimed her life. Today, she is free from medical intervention and thriving – with a mission to help others do the same.

With a professional background as an NHS Paediatric Occupational Therapist and years spent working with children, families, and schools, Kelly brings both deep empathy and practical expertise to her talks. Her session is warm, uplifting, and science-backed – giving students real tools for personal growth and emotional wellbeing.

Her workshop, Building Inner Strength & Self-Belief, is a transformative session designed to help students develop their SPARK:

  • Self-Awareness: Students explore their unique strengths, learn how their thoughts and habits shape their confidence, and build a stronger sense of identity.
  • Purpose: Kelly helps students connect to their “why” – what makes them feel alive, proud, and motivated to create a meaningful life.
  • Awareness: Using mindfulness and reflection, students learn to tune into their inner world, shift their mindset, and manage everyday stress more effectively.
  • Resilience: Through gratitude, goal setting, and real-life tools, students learn how to bounce back from setbacks and approach life’s challenges with calm and confidence.
  • Kindness: Kelly cultivates a warm, inclusive space where students are encouraged to be kind to themselves, celebrate one another, and build positive connections.

With a blend of interactive exercises – from “Your Strengths” reflections to gratitude practices, mindfulness, and visualisation – Kelly offers a calm, encouraging, and energising experience that stays with students long after the session ends.

Students leave not just inspired but equipped – with greater belief in themselves, stronger emotional resilience, and practical habits to help them feel confident, grounded, and happy in everyday life.
